Year 1974：In 1974, Putra Business School was established in January. Initially, it was   named  the College of Resource Economics and Agribusiness, and later, its name was changed to the College of Economics and Management.

Year 1997：Malaysian Graduate School of Management(MGSM)

Year 2001:   Graduate School og Management(GSM)

Year 2007：Top Business School idea by the Ministry of Higher Education(MOHE)

Year 2012：PBS set up by Yayasan Putra Business School & Obtained AACSB accreditation - the first business school in Malaysia to obtain this. 

Year 2015：Accredited by ABEST21

Year 2017：Launched PBS Homegrown programs including 4 Ph.D. Programs，8 MBA programs & 1 Postgraduate Certificate in Business Administration.

Year 2018：Re-accredited by AACSB

Year 2020：Re-accredited by ABEST21 - Rank A

Year 2022：Ranked 1st for 3 Palmes of Excellence by Eduniveral Business School Ranking    since 2016 - the first business school in Malaysia to obtain this.
