Every effort is made to ensure that the students' residence life experience will foster their holistic development as well as being fully supportive of their academic programme. Residence life is a special experience. Staying in a UPM residence is an extension of the students' university education, where they can benefit from all the facilities and services such as student learning centres, social and sporting activities, life-skills and peer-tutoring programmes. A residence is a community in which one meets a range of diverse students and forges life-long friendships.

Sports:

UPM is committed in producing quality students and compete with the increase of soft skills and sports. Thus, the University has provided various facilities and sports facilities to the citizens to provide convenience as well as to encourage citizens to exercise. In addition, UPM also provides modern recreational facilities to citizens throughout the UPM to maintain the mind body fitness. Including the Swimming Pool、Tennis Court、GYM、Football Field、Hockey Rink、Arena etc.

Library:

UPM meets the needs of its students and the University’s research community with a wide range of library services provided via a main library and five branch libraries, which house a rich and diverse array of research materials and resources.

Transportation System:

UPM believes in the importance of a reliable transportation system to support and enhance the quality of life at the campus.Including Commuter Train,Taxi Service,Express Rail Link (ERL).

Cafeteria:

The meeting of cultures and race in UPM has served to enrich the institution with a large assortment of delicious food. There are more than 10 cafeteria scattered all over the UPM compound, offering a variety of food choice from an array of flavours with reasonable prices. Students and staffs can choose to indulge in the unique range of delicacies which include kampung, Western and Middle Eastern during their stay in UPM.

POST SERVICES:

The University’s mini post office is a branch of Pos Malaysia situated within the Mohammed Rashid Residence College. The Post Office sells stamps, money orders, envelopes, tape, and boxes for mailing packages.
